WHAT IS COACHING ?
VS MENTORSHIP, VS THERAPY, VS CONSULTING, VS TEACHING.
Coaching is a space dedicated entirely to you.
A space where you can pause, step away from the noise of everyday life, and explore what is happening within you. A space where you can speak freely, be heard without judgment, and discover perspectives that may not have been accessible to you before.
You don't need to arrive with a clear goal, a plan, or even an understanding of what feels unsettled. Perhaps you are experiencing confusion, indecision, overwhelm, or a sense that something in your life no longer feels quite right. Perhaps you simply feel called to understand yourself more deeply.
Through thoughtful questions, attentive listening, and reflection, coaching allows you to explore your thoughts, feelings, values, and inner knowing. It can help you recognize patterns, uncover what matters to you, and find clarity where things once felt uncertain.
There is no prescribed outcome and no expectation that you must change.
You are not here to perform, prove yourself, or become someone you think you should be. Growth and change may naturally emerge, but they are not requirements. Sometimes the most meaningful shift is a deeper acceptance of who you are.
The intention is not to give you answers, but to create the conditions in which you can discover your own.
Coaching VS Mentorship
Mentorship draws on another person's experience, knowledge, and expertise to offer guidance, suggestions, and insights.
Coaching takes a different approach. Rather than directing you toward a particular path, your coach helps you explore your own perspective, strengths, values, and possibilities. The focus is on what emerges from within you, rather than what someone else believes you should do.
Coaching VS Therapy
Therapy can support people in understanding and working through emotional distress, psychological difficulties, past experiences, trauma, and mental health concerns.
Coaching is generally oriented toward self-awareness, present circumstances, personal reflection, and the possibilities available to you. While meaningful emotions and personal experiences may naturally arise, coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment or therapy.
Coaching VS Consulting
Consulting typically involves an expert assessing a situation and recommending solutions based on their knowledge and experience.
Coaching does not provide prescribed solutions. Instead, it supports you in developing your own understanding and determining what feels right for you.
Coaching VS Teaching
Teaching provides knowledge, skills, and information that you can learn and apply.
Coaching is not primarily about acquiring more information. It is about exploring what you already know, what you believe, what you may have overlooked, and what becomes possible when you see things from a new perspective.
